Columbia Basin Basket Guild Fall Retreat

I’ll be teaching at the 2015 Columbia Basin Basket Guild Fall Retreat in September.  One of the classes I’ll be teaching is your choice of one of these baskets.  Both use “Chicken Scratch” twining and a Haida 4 strand twine that I was learned at the Winter Retreat which Delores Churchill taught.

The longer basket has a piece of willow bark between the Haida twining and a rim I learned from a Dale Croes diagram in his book.  This is basket rim is for more advanced weavers.

I’ll also be teaching How to Weave with New Zealand Flax.
